Very...Thanks for the series of verses on the heart. Very sobering. But the best one was the last one. I was reflecting my way through the verses, feeling more and more hopeless at my condition. Then the Ephesians passage brought me hope and joy. There is a new self, in the likeness of God, created in righteousness and holiness of the truth! God doesn't leave me in the deceitful, depraved condition of my heart! Praise God!!! Not that I have "arrived" but I can keep laying aside that old self and keep putting on the new.
